Wrong Order

18 August 2016 By DaBoss Leave a Comment

When you order the wrong fucking thing off Amazon… TWICE, you have to take a step back to look at what you’re doing wrong.

Chances are, not reading the description correctly.

Yes. It looks correct. Price is Ok. Click to Buy. Ooops. It’s wrong.

Goddammit…

Reflector

I originally thought I was purchasing the Reflector Dish and 3 Honeycombs. But NOOOOOOO… I only ordered the Honeycombs as it CLEARLY states in the description. HONEYCOMB GRID SET.

Then I decided quickly shop around again, but just for a 7″ Reflector Dish, as it seems Neewer don’t offer the Reflector seperately. You can purchase the Honeycomb Grid Set on their own, like I did. OR you can purchase the Reflector with the Honeycomb Grid Set as a bundle.

And this is what I hastily purchased… It arrived today.

Reflector

SEVEN INCHES IS NOT 20 CMs Thank… Now I know that. I did the maths in my head and have no clue how I got 20 cm’s. 7″ x 2.5 = 17.5 cm’s I was a whole inch off and of course, the Honeycombs do not fit.

So I have a mate who’s going to loan me some for my shoot on Saturday. And I’ve ordered a Honeycomb for this PhotoSEL dish. But that’s only one HC vs 3 for the Neewer. I’ll have to get a 7″ dish at a later stage.

FML… What a mission.

Anyway. Just a rant. Read it. Don’t read it. The choice is yours. Or just go look at some naked models here.
